Birthed from a primordial mire of fuzzy rock, glistening in the
blackening light of day, crawling to the melodious shore upon a
mighty molluscal appendage, somehow brandishing instruments, and
screaming as they go, SLÜGFÜT cometh, commanding their
slugoons: Arise!
The Oxford English Dictionary defines SLÜGFÜT as a four-piece
from Sheffield, churning out riff-heavy fuzz-drenched doom-laced
desert-rock. Blending the tonal weight of sludge, the swagger of
stoner and the urgency of grunge, SLÜGFÜT deliver punchy grooves
and big choruses. Their live show is loud, loose, and built for sweaty
rooms and festival stages alike.
SLÜGFÜT bring thunderous riffs upon wings of lightning to
Yorkshire. United by a misunderstanding of invertebrate anatomy,
Jax (vocals, easy guitar), Mike (complicated guitar), TJ (drums) and
Mark (bass) have synergised a sonic onslaught which demands to be
played.
The SLÜGFÄTHER decrees that you shall enjoy the music, and
demands that you come and put your FÜT in the air while SLÜGFÜT
make their noises, loud and proud.
